We are situated immediately to the left when you come out of North Harrow station. There are a few free parking spaces available directly in front of the pharmacy, there are also a few parking spaces available on Cambridge road or within the North Harrow station car park (also on Cambridge Road).
Yes you can either book on the NHS website or just walk in for your covid 19 vaccination. If you are above the required age or come under any of the target groups then you will be eligible. There is a spring booster or the usual winter jab available.
We do certain travel vaccinations. Currently we are administering the Hepatitis B Vaccine and the Meningitis vaccine (provided with the Hajj and Umrah certificate). We will eventually be doing other vaccinations such as the Yellow Fever vaccination and Shingles vaccination. You can either book your vaccination on the telephone or you can just walk in and request the vaccination. You will be required to bring in your previous vaccination history along with information regarding your holiday.
Yes, you can specify which items you require over the telephone. The cost of delivery is £2. A link will be sent via SMS text message to your mobile, payment should be made for the delivery charge plus the cost of items prior to delivery. If payment can not be made via SMS, it can be made by cash upon receipt of your items.
The passport photographs are professionally taken and checked against the requirements; both hard copies and digital photographs will be checked for validity. Digital photographs can also be provided for an extra charge of £4, you will be provided with the digital code for you to copy and paste onto your application.
Dosette boxes are special weekly boxes which we prepare for patients who are unable to remember to take their medication. The medication is separated into boxes that contain tablets split into morning, afternoon, evening and night trays. The patient will then just pop the medication out from the required tray.
The prescriptions must come as weekly Rx prescriptions from the surgery, (you can contact the surgery and ask if they will provide the pharmacy with weekly prescriptions). If the surgery is unable to provide weekly prescriptions, there will be a charge for the dosette boxes of £10 a month.
Yes we provide a free blood pressure service within Saville Pharmacy. You are able to come in and request a blood pressure check and one of our trained staff will check your blood pressure and provide the readings for your record. We will require a few details for our own records or to share with your GP surgery if required.
Medication can be ordered in several different methods. Your GP surgery can send a repeat Rx batch of between 3-6 prescriptions, whereby you won't be required to request any further prescriptions until your batch has finished. You can also request your repeat prescriptions via the NHS app, using the patient access app or by speaking directly to your surgery. Finally you can speak to a member of staff within the pharmacy, if your GP surgery allows us to request on your behalf we will send an email for your medication.
Yes, as long as we have a current mobile number, we will send a SMS text message for you to know that your medication is ready and available for you within the pharmacy.
Yes we do provide the Pharmacy First service. However only specific conditions are covered by this service, a misconception is that pharmacists can provide prescription only medicines for all conditions under this service. The conditions covered include: Ear infections, Sinusitis, Shingles, Sore throat, female UTI's, Impetigo and Infected insect bites. Any condition not included within these 7 will not be provided for via the Pharmacy First service.
Yes of course, patients are being advised to come to their pharmacy for any minor conditions. A qualified pharmacist will help you with any minor conditions by providing you with OTC medications, bandages/supports or other medication if it falls under the Pharmacy First service. If the pharmacist feels that your condition may require urgent attention, he may refer you either to your GP practice or to A and E.
